These are a spectacular pair of buildings at the heart of the Davidson College Campus.
Eumenean Hall and Philanthropic Hall were built to compliment each other in the mid 1800’s.
They are central to this small but esteemed North Carolina private school campus. Eumenean and Philanthropic Halls, constructed in 1849 and 1850 respectively, comprise part of Davidson’s historical campus and are named for the first two student societies founded at the college, both of which still meet today.
The pair are very well cast of solid bronze with high details, circa 1950. They are large and have a great presence, not to mention of very great weight.
These are simply very well-crafted model buildings made of high-end material that would delight any Davidson Alumni or any Architectural buff you know.
Each Bookend measures 4.5” wide, by 2.75” deep, by 6.25”tall.
